45 minute- Music Enrichment for Children

I will work with your family in a 45 minute session using the zoom platform. This kind of class is a great option for families with single or multiple children at home that want to make music.  

Activities will include but are not limited to:

• Singing

• Moving

• Playing Rhythms

• Creating

• Responding to Music

Students in preschool through elementary school will work on specific skills that are important for their musical and brain development.

Examples of these skills are:

• matching pitch,

• finding and keeping a steady beat,

• musical form recognition,

• instrument identification,

• solfege (Do Re Mi) and interval recognition.

  
  Students who are a little older will work on

• music composition& rhythm,

• bucket drumming,

• recorders,

• music history& music of the different time periods

  as well as other age appropriate activities.

I will design a customized curriculum for your child/ren. For instance, if you want to correlate with units of study at school (history,science, language arts), we can discuss this at our initial free consultation meeting.
